MapMyStory - Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

At Galimutti Tech Pvt Ltd, developers of the MapMyStory app, we are deeply committed to ensuring a safe and secure online environment for all our users. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) on our platform.

We are dedicated to actively preventing, detecting, and reporting any such activity in compliance with global best practices and applicable laws, including the Google Play Developer Program Policies regarding Child Safety Standards.

1. Definitions

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Refers to any content, conduct, or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to, grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextortion, child sex trafficking, or any other form of sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor.

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Refers to any visual depiction, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor. CSAM is illegal and strictly prohibited.

2. Prohibited Content and Behavior

The MapMyStory app strictly prohibits any content or behavior related to CSAE or CSAM, including:

Uploading, sharing, or displaying any form of CSAM.

Any content or behavior that depicts, encourages, or facilitates child sexual abuse or exploitation.

Grooming or soliciting minors for sexual purposes.

Any communications or interactions that are sexually explicit, inappropriate, or harmful involving a child.

Any attempts to collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent (as per our Privacy Policy, our services are not intended for children under 13).

3. Detection and Moderation Measures

We employ a combination of measures to prevent and detect CSAE on our platform:

User Reporting: Users can report any suspicious content or behavior directly within the MapMyStory app via our in-app reporting mechanism or by contacting us at our dedicated email address. All reports are treated with the highest priority.

Human Moderation: Our dedicated team reviews reported content and user behavior.

Automated Tools: We may utilize industry-standard automated scanning tools to identify and flag potential CSAM or CSAE-related content for human review.

4. Enforcement Actions

Upon detection or confirmation of CSAE or CSAM, we take immediate and decisive action, which includes:

Immediate removal of the violating content from our platform.

Permanent suspension or termination of all associated user accounts.

Reporting confirmed incidents to relevant law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations (e.g., the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children - NCMEC, and local Indian authorities).

Cooperating fully with law enforcement in investigations.

5. Legal Compliance

We are committed to complying with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations related to child safety and online exploitation, including but not limited to:

The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 (India)

The Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000 (India)

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)

Relevant policies of app distribution platforms, such as the Google Play Developer Program Policies.
